Well... almost a month into this WOE, I have lost 12 lbs.  The scale hasn't
moved since Friday of last week.  Fortunately, it hasn't gone up, but it's
not dropping either.

I eat less than 20g of carbs per day.  I really haven't changed anything
since induction ended.

Any ideas?  I also drink close to 120 ounces of water a day with a couple or
three Diet Cokes.

you should expect stalls that last up to 3 weeks.

Sometimes diet sodas can stall you.

i find that the more i look at the scale, the less i lose.  case in point, i
hadn't looked at the scale for almost a month.  when i did, i was happy to
see what i had lost.  then i looked two days later and had gained six
pounds.  :-)

Welcome the post-induction stall.  Wait a week or two, it'll pass.

Mine lasted two and a half weeks (I think my husband's lasted two and a half
hours!) If this WOE didn't make me FEEL so much better, I might have thrown in
the towel. But I wasn't going back to eating all those carbs, weight loss or
not. Chronic headaches, fatigue (hey! isn't that the "yuppie flu"!?) and
heartburn just aren't worth it. And I'm losing again, so YAY!

Try eating a little less and doing some exercise. Slide down some chimneys
or something.

Eat less, exercise more.

[snip]

That's not the least bit uncommon.  Twelve pounds since January 1
is a fine rate of weight loss.  You do provide very few clues as
to what you are consuming, which may be relevant.

OK... here's a typical day:

AM
cup o' cottage cheese with 1/4 of all-bran cereal (dray)

LUNCH
backed chicken and salad with a small quantity of ranch and some cheese.

PM
salmon/orange roughy with broccoli and cheese or griund beef w/ cheese and
mushrooms, pork rinds

That's about it.  I don't changeit up too much.  If I'm in a stall, that's
OK.  I just want to know I'll get past it.

I am not on Atkins.  I am doing a similar Low-Carb diet called Lean For Life.
It really works.  High protein -and only protien for 3 days.  Then you eat a
salad with lunch and dinner.  You incorporate only high protein snacks
inbetween meals. One day a week (usually the 7th day- )you have another all
protein day. I know for me, when I get "stuck" I will eat a little more carbs..
just a little or maybe a larger serving of your salad...or an extra fruit or
veggie.  This gives your body something to "burn" when you top out... give it a
try.
