Does anyone have this video clip they could post to the newsgroup?  I
tried downloading it this morning and I only got a partial file and not
the entire clip.

Thanks!

Hi Nora,

Here's a link to the website where you can download it:

It won't let me download - either that server has reached it's max
downloads or they've removed the file.

I didn't realize about the non-posting of files in a non-binary group.
I don't see a binary group where this would work, either, except for
alt.binaries.misc

If someone could please post it there, I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks!

Can't post a binary to a plain text group.

I tried downloading it and got an error message "invalid file path".  I
wrote to the Atkins folks to ask what the problem was.  They said they
originally had the file on their website but that it was an error, that
it was just supposed to be internal and therefore removed it from their
server.  Apparently they don't want to share it for some reason.

You can read about the interview here:
http://abcnews.go.com/sections/GMA/Living/Atkins_changes_040120-1.html

"While a front-page story in Sunday's New York Times article reports
that Colette Heimowitz, the director of research and education for
Atkins Nutritionals, is telling health professionals in seminars
around the country that only 20 percent of a dieter's calories should
come from saturated fat, Trager says people have misinterpreted
Heimowitz's instructions. He says, despite all the talk, the diet has
not been modified at all.

"The number, 20 percent came about when we tried to calculate from our
diet plans what we're actually recommending in terms of what you eat.
The Atkins induction phase where 60 percent of your calories come from
fat, 20 percent ends up being saturated fat," Trager said. "We're not
changing our message. It's still a diet that let's people eat
liberally."

I'd assume Good Morning America's network owns the copyright and having it
up was a copyright violation. Don't want the RIAA on their butts. <g>
