Howdy!
So I began Atkins 8/5/02 and originally lost 42 pounds. I've gained a
few of them back because, a) I had surgery and couldn't seem to start
loosing again after I got off the antibiotics and b) started eating a
lot of the sugar-free low-carb candy.
So now I'm seriously starting up again - this is my 2nd day!
Tomorrow will be my first day of going to the gym. Did anyone sign up
for the Discovery Channel National Fitness Challenge? I did, so I'm
using their free 3-month pass to Ballys. I am a regular (at least
payment-wise) with Linda Evans, but I don't really like them much.
If anyone has a Costco near them, they have the low-carb bread. I
haven't had any (induction, you know), but my boyfriend (who's also
doing Atkins) likes it. They also have the splenda drink "Ice Botanicals".
If you are fortunate enough to have a Sams Club, they have the Atkins
shakes (again.. I'm staying away) for something like $1.60 each. They
also have Fruit H2O and had some Crystal Light bottled drinks (both made
with Splenda).
Okay.. so I'm rambling.
I joined this group for support, recipies, information and maybe to even
make a few friends!

Stay away from all atkins trash products except the book. You will do
well if you stick to low carbing and use it as a tool to not overeat.
