Hello everybody,
I am counting down to my wedding day in June of this year (only 4
months left) and i started Atkins yesterday.
I tried the diet in Noveember 2003 and lost 17 pounds in 3
weeks....but then Christmas struck and i ended putting it all back on.
Well i am determined to get it right this time......so if any of you
have tips please send them in!!!!
Yesterday i had:
2 fried eggs, 2 pieces of bacon and 2 sausage for breakfast.
Chicken breast and mayo with cheese for lunch
Steak and some sausages for dinner.
Is this within the rules of induction????
Bye for now,
Luke

What is your weight and height?
My tip: exercise a lot, and do not overeat. Don't eat low carb labeled
junk food.

You need to add some veggies--non carby ones. Salad greens, that
kind of stuff. See:
http://atkins.com/Archive/2001/12/15-464579.html
for a complete list of foods for induction.

I've said it before and I''ll say it again (at the risk of sounding
tetchy):
If you're "determined to get it right".... read the book!!!!!!!
(But not before you eat some raw salad vegetables and a vitamin.
Bloody hell, man, you're on a collision course with disaster.)

Too much fat, not enough (in fact, no!) fiber. Hope you're taking
some kind of supplement, because you're not getting all the nutrients
you need out your described diet, either.

You need to go get yourself a copy of New Diet Revolution and read it.

> Hello everybody,
Hey Luke:
Here's a strategy for you
1. Buy the book
2. Read the book
3. Follow the directions in the book

Hi Luke, welcome to the group! You are about to be chastised by a LOT of people
for not eating vegetables, so I'll step aside and let them have at it :-)
