I have a good friend who sells (imports) kitchen appliances. He usually
drops off samples  like toasters and coffee makers ...Great stuff !!  Today
he showed up with a juicer  I'm not sure what to do with it . I'm afraid to
use alot of friut and as far as using it for veggies ...Won't it take out
all the fiber ? Your thoughts and Ideas would be appriciated .

as i hear it, the problem with juice is that you use way more veggies or
fruits for a glass of juice than you'd normally eat in one sitting, so yeah,
you get way more carbs than if you just ate an apple or something.    plus,
you're right, a lot of the good fiber is filtered out.

plus, what veggies are you gonna juice?  tomato and carrot are way too high
in sugar, and they're the base of most veggie juice blends.

Is it one of those juicers that you can put a whole apple in and get juice?
I got one of those once. It was being promoted by that old guy Jack
something or other. It was just nasty. No matter what recipe I followed it
was gross. even just plain old apple juice was not drinkable.

My 2 cents

Exactly.  It takes out most of the good stuff and leaves you with
essentially sugar and water.  Eat your vegies.
