I am a newcomer to this newsgroup, but not to Atkins. I lost 11 lbs. in 2
weeks on Atkins last August. Then, I went on a cruise and "fell off" the
Atkins wagon. I didn't gain the wait back though.
I am starting Atkins again, tomorrow (I always start on a Monday!), along with
my husband and 17 yr. old son. Wish us luck! I was grumpy back in August for
those two weeks, but physically at that time on the diet, I felt great!

what makes you (the OP) think that you won't fall off in two weeks?
