Doing very well this month(my first month back to LC). Instead of eating
the 5500-6000 calories of high-carb, high-fat, high everything I was eating,
I'm around 2200-2400 calories and between 15 and 25g carbs a day.
Great job to everyone else out there that is losing too. May the whoosh
fairy come to you tonight!

Well, not one of my better months for the challenge here. I've been sick
most of the month with a sinus infection and it's really kicked my butt!
Throw in the fact I've been craving carbs while I'm sick (and giving in
some) and been too pooped to work out, I guess I'm lucky I'm still under 200
so far. Hopefully I'll be getting back on track this week. I know a month
isn't a much in the long run, but I hate seeing the progress I've made get
stalled like this.

Although the beginning of the month brought the Whoosh Fairy for a visit, I
haven't moved the scale since. Still at 226 for the month - which is a
total of 4lbs for January. But that darned old TOM is on it's way and I am
retaining water.
The good news is that when I went to visit my mom yesterday, she was
ecstatic to be able to get her arms all the way around me!

I'm up a few pounds since the other day but hope to lose them again by the end
of the month. I've gotten addicted to those Atkins Endulge ice cream bars. Only
3 carbs each but 18 if you eat the whole box! :D

Down to 202 this morning, which is another pound since Saturday for a total
of 8 pounds so far this month. Very odd week for me, lost something like 3
pounds in 4 days I think. I wouldn't have expected that this late in the
game.

Frustrating! When I posted last week about my low of 214, I also knew it
wouldn't last, because that's been my pattern - mini-whoosh followed
immediately by regain of about half the mini-whoosh. Well, it happened
again, and I've been at 216 for the better part of the last week. This
morning the scale couldn't decide between 215 and 216. It had better make
up its mind - I want to make and keep my January challenge goal of 215! :)

I hit my January goal Saturday morning of 198, with a week to spare.... AND
it's my TOM, so I expect to be a bit lower next week.
After being plateaued at 203 since Dec 1, I'm very happy to see the
numbers moving again....thanks to the power of exercise. All I'm
doing is 10mins a day, but it did the trick. Next week goes up to
15min.
