Why, yes. They're a major regional (New England) dairy company.

I applaud them for putting out a product that most of us seem to like (all
of us maybe), and making it available so we can find it.

Oh, been around (New England) forever..."Hoodsies" are little cups of
ice cream we all grew up on, they came with a little wooden paddle to
eat with - when I described my first taste of the Atkins ice cream, I
said they were "Hoodsie" sized - I thought everyone would know what
that was! They have a big website... Kalish

Yep -- in the recent thread where someone wondered if "anyone on the
planet" considered half a cup a normal ice-cream serving size, my first
thought was, "Well, yeah -- the millions of people who grew up on
Hoodsies."
mmmm...hoodsies...

We have Dixie Cup paper cups here too but as a kid we never called them Dixie
Cups. Our parents probably did but we just asked for water or juice or whatever
and it came the way it came.LOL It was the little cups of ice cream that we
called Dixie cups but now that you bring it up I wonder if it was because they
too were in a small paper cup?
