i have been on atkins for 24 days. no more than 10 carbs a day, usually
less. i'm not constipated, quite the opposite really, very loose
motions.....is this to be expected? will it improve?
lost 4 inches of tummy :O)

Sugar alcohols that are in low-carb products do that for many
people. As little as 1 gram of sorbitol has that effect on me.
I would guess that one candy bar would force me to stay on the toilet
all day.

Well George, I think that most people are going to tell you that you're not
eating enough veggies/ruffage @ 10g. Try upping your veggies, salad, etc.
until you get closer to the 20g limit.
On the other hand, I follow Atkins very very strictly and find that most of
the time my bowels are extremely loose. Rarely I'll have a very tight/dense
movement. I think I'll attribute this to the unusually large amounts of
water that I consume (2.5-3 gallons/day).

No you're not. Atkins is something quite specific.

Atkins starts at 20 and starts moving up on day 15. You should do that.

That low it's common. Moving on to OWL helps just fine.
