usenet is a terrible place to seek medical advice.
Sherlock,
Don't screw around. Take moderatly priced prenatal vitamins that are
designed for pregnant women not overpriced supplements designed for
desperate dieters.

The Atkins supplements are very good vitamins, I've been taking them
consistently- the composition is good, but, stick with the prenatal. Its
been years, but I do remember taking the iron pills and low carb'ers don't-
you have special needs. Agree this isn't the place to ask about prenatal
care, The only harmless advice I have is cut out your excessive sugar and
starches and do your walking. Don't try to restrict your carbs, just
maintain

The most important thing you need that will determine if the vitamin is good
as a prenatal vitamin (esp. during the first trimester) is Folic Acid.
