I found a sauce at Trader Joe's that made for a nice change of flavors for
supper: it's called "Punjab Spinach Sauce", and has a pleasant Indian
flavor. It's not hot or spicy; just flavorful. I simmered fake chicken
(Quorn cutlets) in it; it would be even better with real chicken.
Net carbs are 4 g for a generous half-cup serving.
Ingredients: Spinach, tomatoes, water, tomato paste, light cream, onions,
lemon juice, fresh ginger, fresh garlic, canola oil, salt, paprika,
turmeric, and "exotic spices".
