Below is the start of the article. I mapquested it and it's not where I
would have expected it (York Road is pretty long and I assumed when I
saw the article that the store would be in the northern part, but it
isn't. 5851 York Road puts it at around the intersection of Northern
Parkway and York Road).

Anyone been here? Any comments?

Low-carb explosion
From bunless burgers to buckwheat pancakes, the Atkins diet has
sparked a boom in new food products.

The low-carbohydrate bandwagon rolled onto York Road some weeks
ago, hauling pasta, chips, candy bars, ice cream, pancake and bread
mixes. The merchandise costs more than enough, but consider the
promise, the new beginning, the new you.

I'm not sure where you are located at, but there is a Shopper Food Warehouse
grocery store located on the corner of Rt. 2 and Jumper's Hole Road that has
a lot of low carb stuff. Wheat gluten flour, other "flours",
pasta, bread, bread mixes, Atkins stuff, etc. Funny thing is there is
another Shopper's
located about 5 minutes from my house that doesn't have hardly any of the
stuff that the other one has.

Hope this helps,

I didn't go to this one, but I went to Whoa, That's Low in Silver Spring.  It
was okay... about the size of a GNC (although called a "superstore").  It did
have a number of things I've not seen at Giant or Safeway, though.  Fairly
pricey.

Wegman's is opening here in Loudoun County, VA (near Dulles) in February.
According to the website, it will have a large area dedicated to low carb
products.

That's good to know. Although it's not terribly close to me, I do get
down to that neck of the woods periodically. I'm trying to visualize -
how far is that past Earleigh Heights?

Do they have LC tortillas? The Shoppers near me did have La Tortilla
Factory ones for a while, but are out of them currently. They still have
the sign on the shelf, so I'm not giving up hope. They were selling them
for $2.99/pkg which wa  great price! I tried another Shoppers on Liberty
Rd and they had a smaller selection of LC foods.

Thanks for the info.
