I started on Atkins on 11/13/03 - 11 weeks ago.  Since then, I've lost 20
pounds.

Cholesterol has gone down from 254 to 228

LDL cholesterol has gone down from 136 to 132

Triglycerides have gone down from 144 to 84.

The HDL Cholesterol has gone down from 89 to 79.

The LDL/HDL ratio has gone up from, 1.53 to 1.67.

Anyone know the significance of these figures?

I know it's good that the total cholesterol has gone down but not so good
that so has the HDL portion. Still, your HDL is quite good.  I think the
Triglyceride levels are directly correlated to how much sugars a person is
consuming, so it is good that the level is way down.  This is a good example
of true progress!
