New Pants - Old Pants

It is a good thing I use suspenders, because my pants were falling off.
Today, I dug into my old clothes box and found a pair of barely used pants
from years ago, that now fit.  I wrapped a steel tapemeasure from my toolbox
around my waist and discovered that I have lost about 8 inches in
circumference.

I also drilled a new hole in my belt about 3 inches from the tightest notch.

There is still a long way to go, but I'm feeling very confident today.

Congratulations! Ya might want to invest in a cloth tape measure. ;-)

Congratulations! I've been experiencing the slipping jeans syndrome
too. Actually bought a new belt (not leather, so no holes to drill) to
hold them up better. My newest pair of 52 jeans are big enough to
stick my arm down while my oldest and most shrunk 52s are all
comfortable with some room in them. :-) Went to a wake and had to
dress up and found a shirt that was getting tight in the neck and
middle easily fit again. Glad I saved those three shopping bags of
clothes that don't fit anymore--I may actually wear them again too.

I'm still stoked about the new cargo pants I bought this month. I've had
to get as large as 46" before going on LC. The new pants are 40".

I gained all of my weight fairly rapidly about 6 years ago -- nearly 90
pounds over an 12 month period.  I saved all my clothes that didn't fit as I
gained, and have them sorted by size in plastic storage bins.  So as I'm
losing nowit's like having a new wardrobe.  I simply break out the old
clothes, and give the current ones away  :)
