Hi
I have had a look at www.fitday.com and was wondering if there were
any other sites that help track weight loss etc.

Thanks

Make a spreadsheet. It's easier and doesnt cost you a penny. And atleast you
can back it up in case the site crashes or you lose your ISP.

I originally bought some software called Diet Power .... but found that
www.fitday.com worked better ... and was (and still is) FREE !!

I say, even today, that www.fitday.com has been very instrumental in my
success in weight loss AND MORE IMPORTANTLY it is a powerful tool in guiding
me into a new way of eating.

I introduced the www.fitday.com concept to my nutrition class at the VA in
June of 2003 and now every time I turn around, it seems that someone is
thanking me for introducing them to this wonderful tool.

Thats cool that the site is free, I was confusing it with ediets.com for
some reason. I'll still stick to my guns though that you should have hard
backs up of progress charts and such in case of data lose of no access.

I am a FitDay.com user, but I agree with this.  The trouble for me is that
I'm locked into FitDay - I have three months of data there, and if I switch
to a program or spreadsheet at home I won't have a complete record, as it
were.  I'd at least have to go through and put my weight loss progress in
retrospectively, if not all the food I've eaten.

Another advantage of FitDay.com over some local software is that I can use
it from home or from work, which means more contemporaneous entry of the
foods I eat, for a more accurate record.

What about Fitday do you not like?  Once you get those foods you
generally eat into it, it's very fast to keep up.  I try to put my
food in every day,  but sometimes I miss a day.  Still, all the
reports it can do is pretty cool.
