Liquid Splenda

I was lucky enough to be able to get a small quanity of Splenda from a
manufacturer who buys it by the gallons. The stuff is so concentrated
that we have to put it in a gallon of tea using a medicine dropper. I
must admit that I prefer the test of aspartame, but it is nice not to
have the carbs from the filler.

Sorry, can't give out the source or any other information about how I
got it. The guy just did me a favor for my own knowledge. He is not a
source for future supply. By the way, the stuff is over $400US per
gallon.

That's only $25 per 8 floz.  That's a reasonable price.

Well, I don't see how you got that out of my post, but so be it. As I
said, we only got a small sample to play with. Not anything to brag
about, that I can see.

Isn't it amazing though that there are some people out there that are
so miserable and pathetic that they can't be satisfied unless they are
bringing everyone else down.

Anyway, I'd be interested to hear is you find any new tricks or uses
for liquid Splenda. Some day we will all have it, and you can be on
the cutting edge of our education.
Cheri - 29 Feb 2004 22:11 GMT
Actually, it's already available in some places. You use it to sweeten
stuff. Very cutting edge. :-)

It's a shame we can't some way to take the powdered stuff and burn off the
maltitol or somethingto make our own solution. If people can figure out how
to make crack in a bathtub, surely someone can figure this out ;-)

Anyone get a final word on how true/safe the sweetzfree stuff is?

Somebody here said she had gotten some, but I don't remember who.  I have
some on order.  I think it is just Splenda and water, no filler needed for
liquid stuff.  It's pretty concentrated if you look at the info on it.

lol I hear ya....Oh the good ol days when we could buy it online. I
still have a 1/4 of a bottle that I treasure as if it were liquid gold.
I won't use the darn stuff for fear I'll never see it again. Just
something about that little white and blue bottle that makes me feel all
sentimental.

I got mine. I added some to coffee and to a pitcher of tea and it's
great. Thanks, Diane.

I purchased the product from sweetzfree.com and it arrived very
promptly.  There is also a source in Australia at passthetoast.com

There have been comments about how expensive this is but considering
the concentration of the product, it is less expensive than the
granular splenda.

Do note the concentration level and use carefully.  It is very sweet
and too much is a disaster.

This is where insulin syringes come in handy. I plan to stock up at my
next Dr. visit.

Hey, now there's a great business... buy a gallon of sucralose at $400, put
a couple of drops in a plastic bottle full of water, and sell it at an
outrageous price! Seems to me that the Splenda people are really missing
out by not doing this themselves.
