Low Carb Emporium bread = 1 net carb?

I found some low carb bread made by Low Carb Emporium out of Nevada that
claims to be 6 carb - 5 fiber = 1 net carb per serving.
They make breads, bagels, rolls, and hot dog buns.
They are actually very good but I am very skeptical about them being 1 net
carb.
I want to believe them but have my doubts.
Anyone else tried these?

How much is a servng? 1/8 of a slice? LOL! Why don't you post the nutritional

7-Grain Fiber Hot Dog Buns

Calories    52
Fat            4
Sugars        0
Carbo        5
Fiber        4
Protein    1

Ah but here is the rub...

Each bun is 2.5 oz.
Service size is 1.0 oz
So one serving is 40% of a bun.

But even at 2.5 net carbs per bun they are still really good bread products.
Not the usual dry brillo-pads.
And they are the only lo carb hot dog buns I have found.

Hot dog buns are not low carb.

Most of us probably aren't in danger of eating too little. :)

How can they make the serving size be less than a bun?

Pretty deceptive labeling.  As the trusting consumer you always have to flip
the package over and read teh nutritional info to get the real scoop.  But I
have found a lot of low carb products seem to advertise their product using
an unrealistic portiioning.   Especially Atkins.

In this case it tickes me off but I am not surprised as 1 net carb seemed
too low.  2.5 is more in line with other low carb breads that I have seen.

However the fact that these breads actually taste good is a huge plus.
Others tend to be either strangely chewy or spongy.  These come slightly
under baked so when you heat them they taste like good whole grain bread.
Splikt one and eat it with nitrate free bratwurst from the butcher and I'm
in hog heaven.

The saying goes: fat, dumb, and happy. You've got it all going for you.

FYI, just because someone chooses to LC doesn't necessarily mean they are
"fat" and trying to lose weight.
I'm a healthy, fit 143 lb male and LC for other reasons, I'm a card carrying
member of Mensa, I enjoy fresh bratwurst in a tasty bun as an occasional
treat, and yes I am happy!

Hopefully you will shed the weight or meet whatever LC goal you have so you
can have a more positive disposition and not feel such a need to try and
insult others to make yourself feel better about yourself.

Oh and as the other saying goes:  If you have nothing useful to say, don't
say anything at all.

Sure thing, gay guy.

Just how fit are you? Obviously the Mensa thing isn't helping you too much.

Looking at a new batch of the buns in the store, it appears they have
updated their labeling to reflect real-world portioning now.
I guess they must have recieved a few complaints about deceptive labeling
practices...

I'd be suspicious of any products they make.
