I have to disagree. I used to eat whole wheat bread and brown rice, and
these still give me head rushes due to the explosion of sugar.

I used to not only *eat* whole wheat bread, but I have been baking it
myself for over 20 years, and this "never bingeing" business is
highly subjective. Even the healthiest, whole-grainiest bread would
trigger a maniacal binge. And my husband used to watch me pile on
plate after plate of brown rice. It's neither here nor there now, as
nothing could persuade me to touch wheat again.

Yes, I have no desire at all to eat any bread from the store. But if I made
a batch in my bread machine I would be overwhelmed with desire. Rarely did
I make a plain white bread except for French bread when I was making onion
soup, all nice multigrain combinations, so delicious I could eat several
slices. It's really easy, though, not to make bread, especially since my SO
doesn't eat bread at all.

Why do that? There plenty of veggies out there. Wasn't this your number 2?

And what did you learn here?
Hmm.....sh.t....did you learn anything?
