Stalled, but not worried

My last weigh-in at Curves was on 2/19, and I was up a half pound from the
previous month.  Since then I've been working out at the YMCA, but I don't
weigh myself there because for some strange reason no one there
recalibrates the scales, like ever.  Anyway, yesterday I had some spare
time so I went to Curves and weighed myself and worked out (went easier on
the machines and harder on the cardio, since I did weight machines at the Y
the day before) and I'm still at 156.

I feel a bit weird about the fact that I don't really care that I'm
stalled.  My eating has been pretty good, around 1200 - 1600 calories a
day, 30 - 60 grams of carbs a day, and I feel good about the level of
exertion in my workouts. I'm relatively close to my goal weight and I am
now right around the weight I was at for most of my adult life, before I
porked up to 212 in a relatively short period of time, so I feel kind of
like my body "remembers" this weight and may be a bit scared of going
lower. So I'm basically looking at this as a natural plateau, no cause for
concern unless it goes on too long. What "too long" is I have no idea, but
I'll know it when I get there.

I have only 3 flaws.  My first flaw is thinking that I only have 3 flaws.

IMO, there is nothing wrong with not losing for several months.  Remember
that when viewed in the long term not gaining is as important (and maybe
even more) as losing.  You need practice as both.  Who says you have to wait
until you reach your goal?

And don't forget -- you have been working out for while now so you are probably
a lot smaller than you were when you were this weight before:)Robyn

good point.  that was certainly true for me.  The suit I had when I was 260
lbs before (on LF) was way too big for me when I hit 260 lbs this time on
LC.
