Finally, 9 pounds left to lose.  Single digits to go!

Of course, this still might get modified as the final target
but, for now this is it and it is going to be very close to
where I believe I can comfortably maintain and be reasonably
fit.

I've added one more picture, from my anniversary, wearing my
"skinny" suit.  My SO is in this picture too...not sure I'll
get to leave this picture up.  She too has lost a
significant amount of weight doing Atkins.

You and your wife both are looking fantastic.
It is amazing that you've lost so much in so little time!
Congratulations!

Thank you.

Since I've started I've followed my plan rigorously, not
really having wavered too much since I started...other than
around Christmas where I stayed within carb limits but ate
significantly more calories than at all other periods since
I started eating LC.    It hasn't been easy but it has been
steady.  Actually, partially scratch that as, compared to
every past effort at calorie control on a low-fat diet this
has been a walk in the park.  I'm actually slowing down now
in my weight loss, intentionally, as I try to zero in on my
final weight and what it will take to maintain.  Having
yo-yo dieted for years I've long been more concerned about
maintaining than losing.

I'm more impressed with your weight loss than with my own;
Keep up your good work.

Thank you!
My wife and I are both doing Atkins, and losing fairly steadily.
I am 1 pound away from the "mini goal" of having 100 pounds left to lose,
and that in itself is exciting!

Thanks Curt.  You are actually the one who made me realize
that getting to single digits to go was a worthwhile
milestone to note.  Still feels kind of weird to be so close
after so long.

Yeah, single digits are a big deal , I think.  We are all working hard and
it is nice to see other people doing low-carb and being so successful.

JJ, you just look better and better!  I cannot BELIEVE you've lost THAT much
weight in such a short period of time!

Aw, shucks...

I'm very pleased with the progress my wife has made as well,
she is down a bit over 50 pounds at this point.

You, too, are looking fantastic in your latest pictures and,
in my opinion, your progress is excellent.  I realize that
we all want it to come off faster than it actually does but
observable progress is much of what it is all about.  I'm
looking forward to seeing your next round of picture
updates; the difference between your last two was marked.  I
think your summer pictures, not too far away, will show just
as much progress and positive change.  Keep it up.

JJ, congratulations.  I always enjoy looking at your pictures, and the
new one is terrific.  I have to admit, though - I am always a little
jealous of you and your progress.  :-)  You have lost at an incredible
rate!
