I really like Dana Carpender's "500 Low-Carb Recipes" and "15 Minute
Low-Carb Recipes". Most ingrediens are readily available at the grocery
store.

She has all types of recipes - all the instructions are very clear and
generally short. The results are great. I wouldn't say they were all
quick and easy, but all are good.

Speaking of Dana Carpender, I just found her carb counter book at
waldenbooks yesterday. It seems much better than the one from the calorie
king guy because it shows you the fiber content as well so you can get the
"net" carbs. I still have to look at it a bit further though. Haven't had
time to read it because I have been too busy. Has anyone else here got this
book?

I have serveral low-carb recipe books but I use Dana's the most often. And
she does have crock pot recipes too. We especially like the Chicken Chili
Verde.
