Whether it's acceptable or not depends on whether you tolerate it
(including not having blood sugar/insulin problems) and like the taste
or not. Don't let other people's problems deter you from making the
best choices for you.
I personally use (mumblemumble-Something) Leaf sugarfree found at my
local Food 4 Less (extremely cheap, half the price of the big name
brands), and also Log Cabin sugarfree. Both use sorbitol. No problems
as far as I can tell, but I'm getting a meter soon to test for sure.

Well, the taste of the Smucker's wasn't all that, but it wasn't too bad.
When I'm' finished, I'll try the Davinci - I love their syrups.
