I posted when I started South Beach back in Jan... I am proud to report I
have reached 30 lbs:)
I have about 80 to go but wonder what the three different weights some folks
put at the end of their posts mean?
thanks

this is your starting weight/this is your current weight/and this is your
goal weight or milestone.
Often people will also put the starting date of their diet/woe.

Thanks Bear, I really appreciate that.  But I got on the scale this morning
and I've gained 2.8lbs now!  I know it's not fat cause my calories vs. total
expenditure is fine, it is water retention.  At this point in my month and
for the next 2 weeks, it's going to be hard to see much of any losses.  Oh,
the joys of being a woman.  :(
I had a mini goal of 320 by Easter.  Realistically though I don't know if it
will happen.
*sigh*

Amen.  I'm in PMS at the moment.  I haven't GAINED any, but I KNOW I've lost some
fat because I can just TELL.  I'm smaller today, and that's a fact.  I'm
squishier all over and my legs and butt feel smaller when I grope them :-)  After
almost 9 months on this WOE, I've come to recognize this phenomenon of KNOWING I
lost, feeling squishier in places, and NOT having it show up on the scale for
another few days.  In this case, I may have to wait for another week or two
before I see it on the scale, though.  [Visualize me crossing arms and settling
in with a confident, slightly challenging stare] I can wait.
