I have a long commute, and there's a Starbucks about halfway along that I
usually stop at to indulge my caffeine addiction.  When I went low-carb,
though, I switched to decaf.

Today, I didn't stop.  Not only was I not interested in getting coffee today, I
actively rejected the notion.  When I got into the office, I poured myself a
half-cup of decaf sludge, took one sip, dumped it, and switched to
caffeine-free tea.

This may be the first morning in 25 years or more that I haven't craved coffee.
This is one craving I didn't expect to lose.  I'm still a bit weirded out by
it.

You bypassed a Starbucks!?  You've got more willpower then me :-)

I'd be more surprised to pass a Peet's. That is a really dangerous store
to be around. I spent 60$ last time I was in there.

Cake and chocolate really makes one wish for coffee, and the other way
around. Kinda like wine works for ex-smokers.

Interesting.  I've felt another level of robustness this week (last week I felt
a bit out of it), sort of like I'm 10 years younger.  And today, again, I
bypassed my morning coffee.  Just didn't want it.
