went for my annual gyn visit; got onto the subject of weight - he referred to
me as "a petite lady"! - i told him i was on a controlled carb diet. he
responded by saying "that's why you're so thin, if the rest of my patients
would only drop sugar, white flour, pasta & bread, they wouldn't have weight
problems and they'd be much healthier". he went on to call carbs "poison" &
"addictive". very suprised to hear this from main stream medical guy.

He most likley has a lot of patients come to him with PCOS problems, and should
know that LC helps them. You're lucky to have such a smart doctor!

I grew up with 3 guys that became Doctors in Texas and we still keep in
touch. The medical schools they went to offered Nutrition as an elective,
none of them took it.
They admitted they get lots of their nutritional information from the media,
like the rest of us.
