The more dysfunctional the anger, the heavier the person," study
author Dr. William Mueller told Reuters Health.

Mueller, who is based at the University of Texas Health Science Center
at Houston, in the School of Public Health, noted that research in
adults suggests that showing outbursts of anger can increase the risk
of heart attack.

SOOOOO:

Obviuously you are too f.cking fat and insecure of yourself that you must

This is the furthest thing from the truth.  If you don't eat enough your
metabolism will slow down.  Exercise it a good thing of course, but eat more
would be a better long term solution.

I don't believe it in the short term (couple of months), especially if you
exercise.

According to the research I have done, it take you body only between 24 and
48 hours to adjust to what you are eating.  That is a far cry from a month
or two.  Sure you can lose weight on low calorie.  No one could argue that.
The problem with it is when you want to eat more after you lose,  your body
will store food fast, because it remembers you are starving yourself.  This
only makes sense.

I am eating lots of food.  I do exercise more than most, but I keep my
intake up there. I want my body to know it can have a high metabolism on not
slow down.

Just looking long term,
Curt

I'm not convinced that makes sense.  Just because it sounds reasonable or
plausible doesn't mean it is so.

What is a lot of food?

Nothing wrong with that.

It is not something I just made up.  It is a book I have been reading called
"The Princeton Plan".  It is more of an alternating carbohydrates and
proteins, so your body doesn't adjust.  I have learned a lot from the book.
It is not as extreme as the Atkins plan.  I am convinced that your body
adjusts rather quickly.  I am amazed how people underestimate the power of
their bodies to adapt.

Everyone is different.  I can eat more than most people because I exercise
so much.  I do see people that don't eat much at all.  I think they are
stuck, due to their bodies adjusting to low food intake.  I don't think
there is anyway that I will change my mind about this.  It is just how I see
it after reading all kinds of books and trying things for myself.

Oh, I didn't think so....this is commonly reported....but I still don't
totally buy it.  I think in certain instances there may be merit it to.

Well, see, that's your opinion. If I keep exercising and not eating much, my
body will adapt by using bodyfat stores, not just by lowering metabolism.  I
don't see how I can seriously lower my metabolism if I'm using my muscles
and getting adequate rest for recovery.  And this notion about permenantly
lowering it needs some serious attention before outright acceptance.

Well, the reason I asked is simply because what may seem like a lot to you
may not seem like a lot to me.  I'm still at 245 lbs.  And I exercise a lot,
too.  But then again, what is a lot? :)

I'm not trying to change your mind, Curt.  However, I will question the
metabolism crash thing.

it *is* possible to "eat less" and still "eat enough."

Yeah, if you are eating way too much food.  Why not eat plenty of food, but
eat low carb that way when you maintain, you don't have to eat like a bird.

yeah, that would be how most people get fat.

who's talking about eating like a bird?

"eating less" doesn't have to mean eating like a bird.  it doesn't have
to mean starving yourself.  it doesn't have to mean anything negative at
all.  it's too bad people have such a nasty reaction to the concept.

That's why your bodyfat is still so high. And it will remain so, long term.

Most of us probably aren't in danger of eating too little. :)
