Oops, posted too soon -- of course fat free half and half has 143
calories per cup and regular half and half has 315. So one way you get
twice the carbs and the other way you get more than twice the calories.

Thanks for the heads-up. I went to carb-watching from fat-watching.
I'll try heavy cream - I imagine I need a lot less.
