I may not be losing pounds, but my upper body is changing radically. I
tried on a blouse I purchased last month that was a tad snug across the
chest (motivation, you know) and it fits. So... I measured. Things are
shrinking.
I guess I shouldn't be so concerned about a scale number. I am, because
I know that it matters, but perhaps it really is about having my body
catch up to itself. Perhaps, since I'm still exercising and maintaining
plan, things will pick themselves back up when they're ready.
It gave me hope.

When I get back to my weightloss journey, I will *try* to focus more on
"feeling and looking" better rather than focussing on the number. I may
even consider using my reference jeans as a way to monitor my success. I
would LOVE to get back into the jeans I was wearing in 2001.
At 87 lbs down, Nancy, you are a lowcarb success!!

Congratulations on your loss, Nancy. I, too, have not lost lately, but I'm
not gaining and my weight seems to be redistributing. I bought some new
bras when they came on sale, and I've gone down from a 42C to a 36B. I can
actually look down past my boobs and tummy and see my little toes peeking
through! I don't look nearly as much like Roseanne before her breast
reduction surgery! Also, I've noticed my uniform collar which used to be
tight on my throat is way loose now. So even though the scales are stalled,
the diet seems to be progressing. I'm doing callesthenics for about 10
minutes every day. I'm too old to run or do anything you youngsters do.
But I stretch and bump and bend and reach and swing around and move the old
bod quite enough to get sore as hell. Feels good.

Congratulations, Jean! There's just something momentous about moving to a lower
bra size ...

Personally, I've gone from a 36 C/D to a 40 E!
Whodathunk I would actually say, "I want smaller boobs"!!
Looking forward to getting back to a "normal" size!

That's a thrill isn't it? I got so heavy I had to buy "bra extenders",
and then I outgrew them! LOL One of the best feelings I got from this
WOE was being able to toss them in the trash, (for good I might add).

It's nice to have confirmation that what you are doing makes a
difference, even if you get it from your clothes. I hope that made you
feel good about things.

Keep it up Nancy...I'm sure that it will start again if you continue doing the right things. It is sooo motivating to be able to fit into something you couldn't wear before, isn't it?

Way to go Nancy. Keep it up.
:) Try not to be concerned about the number on the scale, you know you're
making progress!
I don't own a scale, decided to try LC with a goal to fit into a certain set
of clothes from long ago.
Hope to have even just tiny bit of your success !

Congrats on the shrinking! 87 lbs is a HELL of a lot of weight to lose -- I'm
