I haven't tried them but when I was in subway last week for lunch I ordered
my normal salad. When they asked what type of dressing I said oil and
vinegar packs, they were out. So I asked what type of dressing they use on
the Atkins wraps she said they use their regular ranch dressing and it's not
sugar free. I'd like to get a look at the label next time i'm in there, has
anyone else checked into this?

The info is here:

I've tried the "wraps", there is certainly nothing special about them.
They are (a lot!) more expensive than Subway's regular sandwiches, and are
nothing that couldn't be made at home quickly and easily with low-carb
tortillas.  The only thing special about Subway sandwiches in the first
place is the good-tasting bread, this takes that away, so all you are left
with is cold-cuts in a generic tortilla for high dollar.

My wife and I agreed after eating just one that it would be the last time.

I don't really care for the wraps, but the salads are good...I get a roast
chicken with southwest sauce (2g)

I don't see the dressing ingrediants on that site unless i'm just over
looking it.

http://subway.com/subwayroot/MenuNutrition/Nutrition/pdf/NutritionValues.pdf

has all their offerings includings condiments and additions. And its a
PDF so you can save it on your PC.  I visited a lot of vendors and
many have PDFs of all their offerings. Too many chain restaurants
don't bother which is annoying (Applebees, Bennigans, Boulder Creek,
etc)

I actually had a wrap today and I thought it was good and would have
it again. Since most delis don't have low carb bread or tortillas,
this offers another choice when grabing lunch outside the office.
Subway's breads are good.

I don't think I ever did a Subway salad. I did a Blimpie salad once
and realized there was no reason to do that again. Shredded iceberg
doesn't constitute a decent base for a salad to me.

They are tasty but way too expensive. Make them yourself at home with
pre fried bacon,  seasoned chicken tenderloins, monterey jack and jack
melted over the chicken and bacon, slap on some mayo and mustard
mixture inside the LC tortilla, add greens if you like and VOILA!!! We
eat them at home like that all the time and they arent $5 a piece like
they are at the SUbway here!!!!Laureen

My family loves subway, but I agree- its the bread that makes the sandwich.
I was disappointed in the salads, mostly because its nothing but iceberg
lettuce and the fixings which tasted old. I could taste the sugar in the
dressing- its hard to get away from sugar in restaurants

I've tried the wraps, but not their pre-fab ones. I make my own combinations. I
have them put vinegar only (I don't like salad oil), and no dressing.
Sometimes a little mayo. I got a salad once, and got dressing on the side. It
was light ranch, and was full of carbs. I tossed it in the trash, and used my
dressing at home instead.

You know, I like their wraps!  I have had them a couple of times and
they make a great thing to grab if I am passing by a Subway and am
hungry during the day. Sure, they cost more their sandwiches and that
makes no sense to me but it's nice that they offer it.

That said, the one major problem I have had with them is the same I
have always had with Subway. Their employees usually have no idea how
to prepare the advertised items!  When I used to eat thier low-fat 6
inch sandwiches, I would ALWAYS have to stop them from putting cheese
on them.

Now, I have to watch them because I will order a "Chicken Bacon Ranch
Wrap" and they will try and grab tomatoes to put on it OR will ask me
what dressing (ie: even honey mustard) when the item says RANCH in the
name and the carb count advertised is when using their ranch dressing.

I have also been frustrated a bit when I order a low-carb wrap and
have them try and sell me CHIPS to go with it and "make it a meal".
HELLO?? Chip are not low-carb. People eating low carb are not going to
want a bag of chips with their wrap!  Oh well, you get my point. As
long as I keep an eye on them and get them to stick to the item as
advertised, I'm ok.

I had the Turkey&Bacon the other day. For a net count of 10g I'd have to say
I was not impressed at all really. For those 10g of carbs I could have had a
much tastier meal at home. Oh, well, they are in the business of making
money, not making things great.

Won't be having another all too soon I tell you.

I've always enjoyed the salads. I've always opted for oil and vinegar with
all vegies except pickles and tomatoes. I get the steak and cheese with
double meat which  is only a buck more. It's the closest thing to fast food
i can get in a rush. The wraps just don't appeal to me though.
