A no Carb diet is all wrong.  I know this for fact.

It works the same as a car.
Remove the carb from your car, and the car wont run.
Remove the carb from your diet, and YOU wont run.

Carbs are a good thing.  This explains everything.

Gotta agree there, maybe that's why I'm eating a LOW carb diet, not a NO
carb diet.

Ah yes but if you modify that car to burn alcohol based fuel it runs just
fine. Modify your body to burn fats as fuel (by eating low carb) and it runs
just fine also.

> Carbs are a good thing.  This explains everything.

Vitamins and minerals which come from foods with carbs (such as veggies and
nuts) are a good thing. Carbs themselves are useless since our bodies make
glucose when needed.

So, if I modify my diet to only consume alcohol, I should be able to
run real well, huh?  I sort of like that idea !!!

I removed the carb from my vehicle and replaced it with fuel injection plus

Damn you JC.  I was about to say the same thing.  I didn't use a turbo
though, I did a blown, aftercooled project.

Carbs are too much of a pain in the a.s to tune.  Who wants to deal with all
the variables, jets, etc. depending on the weather, humidity, temperature,
etc.?

I don't burn any oil, and my mileage is fair.  My resale value is way down

cute, but wrong.  My car doesn't even have a carb(uretor).  Most modern cars
don't.  They run just fine.

How?  Well, they've found a more efficient system.  Just like us low-carb
dieters have.  Imagine that!

Socks are not very bright.  In their clumsy escape attempts, they often
find themselves trapped on the outside of the washer tank or dryer drum.

Sometimes they try to make it out the door hidden inside the sleeve of
a sweater.
Cubit - 10 Mar 2004 13:57 GMT
I would advocate a no carb diet, but it is very hard to do compared to a 20
carb diet.

These claims that the body needs carbs have no foundation in fact.  I can't
find a study that tried it.  Since the body makes glucose from other things,
carbs are optional.

Just take yer vitamins.

oh, aren't you clever

As far as I'm concerned carbs are a necessary evil - I have a few because
they're unavoidable, and stick to the unmodified, low GI variety. But I
absolutely don't think they're a good thing the way ignorant pricks who
troll newsgroups spouting utter shite about no carb diets think they're
good.

Are you completely new to newsgroups in general too? The reason people
include quoted text is so you know who they are replying to - hence this
message getting ridiculously long as I don't want to trim any of the old
stuff because you clearly need a while to get the hang of things.

Watch the >>>s for a clue.

> Any other crudities
> you would like to throw my way?

I can think of plenty, but don't want to offend the other folks in the group

:oP

>My prick is smart enough to stay far

> ignorant.

Resorting to childish insults is the last defence of the truly stupid.

And I thought you killfiled me? I knew you would miss me too much to
do so! Childish insults? All I did was defend the intelligence of my
prick, as you brought the subject up.

iu reccommend using a carb blcoker like adnutrim, that way people may fiest on
all the carbs they want (assuming thats still a health amount) and the carb
blocker will allow the body to excepot the neccesary amount of carbs needed to
"run"
