I got on the scale this morning and saw that I just reached a significant
milestone -- less than 100 pounds left to lose!
I don't really have a goal date for loss, I just take it as it comes. It
feels great to have only 2 digits left to lose!

Wowie!! and congrats! Good attitude.. I think the ones who set these hard
fast goals get too upset when it doesn't happen as fast as they think it
should. It shouldn't be a race but find a way to go steadily, even if
slowly.. it's usually much easier to deal with that way and usually means it
something you can live with the rest of your life.

Thanks, Teeb!
I used to always set monthly goals, but since weight loss (for me at least)
varies quite a bit, the goals were usually very discouraging. Better for me
just to let happen what happens, and be happy when it does!

Definitely.. I look back at my overall weight loss, even though it's taken
me 8 months, 48 pounds is nothing to sneeze at! Lots of people would freak
if they hadn't lost that much in 3 or 4 months.. but sheesh.. I just really
feel the old turtle had the idea.. slow and steady.. even though I always
say it's not a race, lol. I have about another 20 -25 to go and I don't care
if it takes me another 8 months to get to that point.. my main thing is
never going back UP at any time, so if I get stuck for a week or so, it
doesn't bother me.

Congratulations Mark. Those milestones really give you a great feeling
of accomplishment, don't they?

Thank you, Marty!
Yes, it feels great. Each pound of weight loss and each time I am able to
up the exercise level just feels wonderful.

Good going, Mark! Aren't those milestones great? You'll get there when
you get there. Enjoy the ride. :-)

Thanks, Jean!
Slow and easy wins the race. Oh, wait, it's not a race anyway!
