It's this one: http://www.adammatthews.com/lowcarb.html

Short, easy, no hidden carbs that I can see, and it saves me time from
making it myself :-)

Isn't vegetable shortening always hydrogenated?  Why would a cheesecake need
added fat anyhow?

I'm sure they'd say texture, but I bet it's because shortening is
cheaper than cream cheese, even in bulk.

Nope.  I saw this at Whole Foods:  Spectrum Naturals Organic All-Vegetable
Shortening, Trans-Fat Free, Non-Hydrogenated.  Ingredients:  Mechanically
pressed organic palm oil.

Costs more than Crisco, though :-)

Looks pretty good, save for the shortening.

Why even eat dessert if you are dieting?

Why not, if it's low-carb?  This isn't a traditional "diet," you know.
It's a permanent change in how one eats.  I, for one, am not going
through the rest of my life with no dessert, ever.

WHY NOT?

If you knew you could improve the quality of your life, live extra
years?

If you knew you would be healthier?

I don't get it... most of you have a weight problem because you don't
metabolize sugar and other foods like thin people... why in the world
would you NEED TO EAT DESSERT TO HAVE A FULFILLED LIFE?

no, katie ... "most of us" have a weight problem because we ate too much
and didn't exercise enough.  "metabolizing sugar" has f.ck-all to do
with it.

ps: your sock is showing, troll girl.  nice try, though!

Desserts are how you got fat in the first place.

Most of us probably aren't in danger of eating too little. :)
