I take yellow squash and slice it very thin with my mandolin/food slicer.
Then I deep fry it for a few minutes (not too many at a time). When its
cooked I salt it. Close to potato chips. Be careful to watch them because
they will overcook and taste burnt. I like to serve them with burgers, sans
the bun of course. YUM!!

A dozen pepperonis nuked on a plate for about a minute make nice crispy
disks, once cool.

They don't taste like a chip, but the size and texture can be close enough.

You can make cheese crisps too. They taste like Cheezit if you use a
non stick frying pan and sprinkle it kinda thick but even with finely
shredded cheddar cheese, fry until it looks like lattice, turn, fry a
bit more until just lightly golden, cool on wax paper and voila
crunchy and cheesy like crackers!!!
