Is this pancake mix a new product?

Hi LCers!

I saw this product advertised in my K-mart Sunday circular: Carb
Solutions Simple Chef Buttermilk Pancake & Waffle Mix. I did a search
of Google and Groups, but could find no info.

Has anyone else heard of/used this product? Is it any good?

I haven't seen it, but except for their chocolate-almond candy bars,
every other Carb Solutions product I've tried has been really awful.

thanx for the reply, jamie...

in other pancake news... i have seen two different atkins pancake products.
one is called "atkins pancake & waffle mix" at 3 carbs per serving. the
other is called "atkins deluxe buttermilk pancake & waffle mix" at 8 carbs.
i am assuming the 8 carb one is newer/better...? i have always liked
buttermilk pancakes the best, so i suspect this tastes better?

comments from those who have tried either/or?

I tried both, the smell it gave off while cooking. it was really nasty
smelling. I took one bite, and spit it out into the trash can. It was
a waste of money.
