"In science it often happens that scientists say, 'You know that's a
really good argument; my position is mistaken,' and then they would
actually change their minds and you never hear that old view from them
again. They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should,
because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it
happens every day. I cannot recall the last time someting like that
happened in politics or religion." -- Carl Sagan 1987 CSICOP Keynote

Well I survived the grocery shop. I only made one bad purchase for myself
which was a pack of smoked salmon. DS decided to scream at this point ( for
fun may I add) And I checked the carbs etc but not the ingrediants, so got
home and it has sugar in. Put it in the freezer and will give it to MIL on
Sunday when we visit. Problem solved

It is shocking how much good seafood costs away from the coasts.
Outrageous.

Depends on how much sugar it had in it. Avoiding sugar completely is
not the goal unless you have real trouble with it (trigger food or
diabetes). Controlling intake is.
Happy eating!

Hi, Jules. Welcome to the group. I'm just a few weeks in, myself, and
still learning new tricks. Nice to see you here.
