I went to the doctor today. I've been having terrible pain in my leg
right at the top on the side. Over the weekend I could barely walk. The
doctor said it was my sciatic nerve. He gave me a steroid shot and a
anti inflammatory drug. So far it isn't any better but I guess I'm
impatient. On a brighter note he was tickled pink about my weight loss.

My sympathies on the sciatic nerve problem. They do take time to improve -
did he refer you for any physiotherapy treatment? But the anti-inflammatory
should have helped.

I've had a compressed sciatic nerve for a couple of years now - hydrotherapy
and chiropractic treatment worked up to a point, but as long as I sit all
day every day at work I don't think it's ever going resolve completely.
