Weight Loss Forum / Low Carb / March 2004This really ticks me off!!
Went to the store today to get some low carb Slimfast shakes...thought I would give them a try. The regular Slimfast are 6 cans for 4.99... The low carb Slimfast are 4 cans for 6.49. Don't know if it is my imagination or what...but the shakes seem to make me feel good...maybe it's the vitamin jolt? M if i remember right, the LC SLIMFAST shakes were full of sugar alcohols, weren't they? I am not sure...I didn't bother to read the label after seeing the price. I am going to stick with the Atkins shakes, I really like them.. that is what I have for breakfast during the week. I try to support the new low carb products they are coming out with..it makes low carbing a little easier.. like buying the bb sauce....rather than having to make it. What I am afraid of is that more and more people are going to pass on buying these products because the prices are so inflated, and they will drop making them thinking we are not interested enough. They need to bring the prices down to a reasonable price, and stop gouging us. M Ugh don't waste your money.. they are GROSSSSSS!!!
