Might as well admit to it, come on out and say it. I cheated over this
past weekend. The pain from the car accident, being layed up and bored
did it I think. I had some Jack Daniels wine coolers Saturday night.
Looked and looked for a carb count and sugar count, didn't find any. I
ended up drinking two 4 packs of them. Felt pretty damm good and slept
well that night. Had chicken wings that night also, along with onion
rings. Then when grocery shopping, I got a can of pop out of a
machine in front of the store, it actually helped with the hangover.
Now, back on the wagon. I gained three pounds. Went back over 240, was
below 240. How many days do you think, when I stick to the low
carbing, will it take to lose them extra pounds?

Dude, if you were in a car accident and survived, that's cause enough for
celebration. Once the pain's gone and your back to routine, start the diet
again.

I didn't have the car wreck but have done the same thing myself. I try not
to worry about the set back to much, but just keep focusing on the goal and
the progress I am making, a pound here and there tends to add to big loss.

Sunshyne please don't drink if you're taking meds for the pain.
Alcohol doesn't play well with many meds, and that was an awful lot of
alcohol.
Take care,
Carmen

First, don't beat yourself up...the car accident did that
enough already I suspect. But do get and keep yourself back
on track.
As for how long to lose the extra pounds again: I don't
think there is one answer for that question. For me,
anytime I have bounced 3-4 pounds like this, it has taken me
upwards of a week to get it back off. Because it only takes
a week I generally believe this weight to be largely from
water retention, not fat. My opinion and experience only.
