Are there any devices for cooking scrambled eggs in the micro? Currently,
I'm just using a bowl, but it's a bit hard to clean and doesn't have a
top. Thanks!
By the way, cooking eggs in the microwave is by far the easiest way to
cook them. Right now, it's so cold in CT that the pans take 5-10 minutes
just to heat up, and then you still have to cook the eggs, melt the
cheese, and cook the accessory (sausage, etc.). You can do all of that in
micro in half the time, and you don't have to watch it.

Bob,
You might consider turning up the heat in the house!

I don't nuke eggs very often, but when I do I spray the bowl with a bit of
Pam cooking spray. I also have learned to put Pam on the fork or spoon that
I use when making scrambled eggs. Really helps with clean up in the
dishwasher. I also spray Pam on the plate I use when nuking hamburgers,
etc. Great stuff that Pam! LOL

Ooooh. Great idea. I'm gonna Pam my whisk! That tip will come
in handy later today if I have any energy left after I shovel for
a few hours.

Ya know how that white stuff tends to stick to the shovel. Pam it! LOL! I
also cook with cast iron pans and after burning them off, I always spray Pam
in them to season them. Works really well and is so much easier than
messing with oil. :o)

........ ha but it stops the high pitch noise for a couple weeks.

Yes, I've seen tv ads about them: the Egg Wave.

Bob,
What kind of microwave do you have? I'm lucky enough to have one with a
program to cook eggs. It stops every 10 seconds or so and tells you on a
scrolling screen to stir them. They always come out light, not rubbery.
I have been eating soft-boiled eggs lately. Something about the yolk being
semi-liquid really fills me up. I just put my eggs in the water and when
they come to a boil, set a timer for 3 mins. Pour some cold water over them
to cool them. Yummy!

We put our eggs into the boiling water and let them cook for 8 minutes on a
slow roll, comes out with semi-liquid centers and very yummy with a dot of
butter s/p.
