Seems that different companies use different methods to count carbs.
This should establish a standard.

Hi Guy,

Thanks for sharing this.  I'm glad that the FDA has concluded that sugar
alcohols are, indeed, carbs.  I know they are for me, as a diabetic.  I
think a lot of people are being mislead by the current practices.  I'm
happy to hear that things are going to change.
