no headaches and no carb flu and 8 lbs down. I know most of it is water but
it's gone :o)  Finding that I am eating less now as I am full up and more
satisfied more easily than before this.  I have prepared DH and children's
carbs for their lunchboxes and dinners in the evening etc and can honestly
say I have not felt tempted :o)  The real test was I was giving the youngest
a small amount of chocolate yesterday and usually that means  one for me and
2 for DS, but I passed it up just didn't appeal to me at all.

I think what is helping me a lot is I have been avoiding mirrors for over 10
years now ( not weight related)  And now I can stand in front of one and
really notice what I am looking at.  I want my pre illness figure back and
am ready to fit for it! Before when I tried to lose weight I tried because I
thought I should but now I have a better mental image for what I am dealing
with,.

Yeah, I cook higher carb for the family than for myself and don't have
a problem with it particularly.  Heck, I just fixed a big pot of
mashed potatoes tonight.  Not tempting.

The one thing that *does* drive me up the wall is baking bread.  I
have two loaves in the oven now and the smell is making me crazy.

I think I'll go to bed as soon as they come out of the oven so I can
stop smelling them.  ;)

Even that bread smell did nothing for me the other night :o)  I Enjoyed the
smell of it I admit but didn't want to eat the bread :o)
