I just saw a blurb for another edition of John
Stossel's "Lies, Myths, and [forget the rest of
the name]". It will be airing this Monday night.
One of the items mentioned was whether low carbs
were good for losing weight. Given the title of
the show, I suspect he is not too sympathetic.
But I wonder how he will try to ignore all the evidence
that low carbing works?

He's usually pretty good on a lot of different subjects... Maybe he'll use
it as a way to frame how maybe the traditional food pyramid has actually
caused obesity to rise. Most of the media seems to misrepresent Atkins, and
he likes to go against the grain (pun not intended at first), so maybe it'll
be pro-low-carb. Who knows? Could be interesting.
