I got Steele's from Synergydiet.com & it's really good!  Actually,
just a little too good - gotta keep away from it!

Dunno about those, but I use glycerine/glycerol. Has a taste rather
similar to honey, very warm on the tongue. It is slow carb, 0 GL, but
has carbs and calories, just slow release.

I bought some from Nature's Flavorings and it was awful. I found a product
at Wal-Mart called Honey Tree's Sugar Free imitation honey in a clear bottle
that resembles honey in color, texture and flavor, net carbs=0. BTW, it was
right next to the real honey:)

Was that the syrup or the flavoring, Cookie?  I STILL have not
dared try the syrups I bought because they smelled so nasty--and
they all smelled the same.  I thought the flavorings at least
smelled different!

It is a syrup. Actually looks and tastes like honey. It's even in a beehive
shaped clear plastic container.
