Hey, I'm back! I need help with revising the stuffed cabbage recipe.
It calls for rice...Anyone have an idea of a low carb filler instead?
Thanks!

Substitute with finely diced Cabbage???? That's what I would try.

I chop cauliflower in a food processor into the consistancy of rice.

Yes,  Just use more dry kraut or cabbage in place of the rice.   You don't
need the rice.   I have a low carb ebook coming out shortly and that's what
I have done.

Very cool!  You will, of course, let us know when it's ready, right?

Sure.  It's nothing fancy, just 100 basic recipes.  However, I went
seriously off the diet, and I think I'd better be at least on Atkins when my
Atkins cookbook comes out :)

????  Stuff the cabbage with more cabbage????  I'd maybe just go with
the hamburger filling - maybe chopped cauliflower instead of the
rice...but I'd just use all-meat filling, myself.

Thanks, Allie!  I'll try to make this within the next couple of weeks, and
will report back.  Sounds delicious!

I did that kind of recipe, minus the sauerkraut and bacon....the bacon
sounds good, I dont know about the sauerkraut. But it came out really
well, my whole family enjoyed it and they aren't even low carbing! You
all should try it.

I dunno ... I think the sauerkraut sounds like a great solution!  I intend
to give it a shot.

A little ground flaxseed would probably work as well. I put it in
meatloaf and it's fab.
