What I learned

I learned that it is difficult to summon any willpower (for me, that is) if
I am  eating trigger food such as sf cookies and peanut butter, or peanuts,
no matter how bad they make me feel.
And I learned again how good it feels to eat the right food, in my case Low
Carb.
Its good to be back.
Thanks, all.

Hi Jackie.  I've learned the same lessons during the same period.  (Are you
my twin sister?).  I also have a hard time with nut control (geeze, that
could be taken SO many ways!).  My major nemesis is cookies.  They're
downright evil.  I can easily eat one Lay's potato chip (remember that
commercial?), but I cannot eat one cookie.  I must devour ALL of them!

Good to have you back!

I am your 70 year old  twin. :-)   Peanut butter is so darned good,
especially on sf cookies.  Now I am back to having nuts the way I had them
before my eat-all-the
nuts-I-can stage : a few (4 or 5) broken up pecans with my flax cereal.
Someone on this list said raw nuts are easier to control, and this proves
true for me.  And what is better raw than pecans?

Along the same lines...I've learned that LeCarb Frozen Dessert had the right
idea with pints...Those damned half-gallons of Bryers are too damned much ;)
