My this NG has been getting testy as of late.  It didn't used to
be like this.  Everyone needs to focus on being helpful and supportive, because
that's what this group is for, isn't it?  Kumbaya!

Is English your second language?

Shame on you guys. You have been throwing this word around too much. It's
almost like saying f.ck now. You take away the power of a word by overuse. I
know that many other women feel differently than I do but saying c.nt to me
(note for the clueless: I realize you weren't addessing me[yet]) is just
stupid. I tell my S12 that people who swear a lot have no imagination and
very limited vocabularies so they resort to using the same tired words to
express themselves.of course this is strickly  IMO

We already knew this about sseaott. It was fairly obvious the first day.
:)
I don't think shaming him will work however.  You have to have a
concsience for that.  And an IQ above freezing.

Obviously the Alien Space Bats were beaming Bozo Rays at my house from
their Secret Base concealed within a fold of Higher Dimensions, causing
me (ME!) to completely lose all comprehension of the icons-on,
positions-of and tooltips-attached-to my newsreader's toolbar buttons.
I shall have to investigate the ergonomics of alumin(i)um kitchen foil
as applicable to personal Faraday cages.  Or possibly I was hungry.

I feel testy myself.  For me it is because I have a bad week last week with
St. Patty's Day, which turned into a week long party.  I drank Saturday,
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  I started back on Induction
yesterday.  I have no idea what I weigh and won't know until at least
Wednesday.  I just don't want to see too much damage.  I did work out during
that week, so maybe it won't be that bad.

On top of that, it is so damn cold here in PA that I am just ready for
spring.  We had a few warmer days and now it is freezing.  Bring on the
heat!

Yes, it is cold here in Ky today as well.  It's supposed to warm up
this weekend --- time to start getting the garden ready!

One thing I LOVE about where I live.  On Saturday, the first day of
spring, it was a sunny 80 degrees here.  Man I love Florida! :)  Hope
all of you still stuck in the cold warm up soon and I send you warm
cheery greetings from Destin.

I'm grumpy, and admit it.  I'm stalled, am cold all the time, whine,
whine, moan, moan, and have been having issues with the administration
in one of the institutions in which I teach.  Issues large enough that
I'm contemplating leaving it.

Trying not to take it out on anyone else...

and hoping for REAL Spring, not just the calendar date.

Nancy,

Chalk it up to seasonal affective disorder.  Life really is
good!

It goes in cycles.  About every three months the ng has a nasty period
where it seems everybody is sniping at everybody else.  Stress mostly.
It will settle down in a week or so.

Any sufficiently advanced stupidity is indistinguishable from malice.
