I just wanted to share with you folks that I am riding in the MS 150 in
June.  This is a charity bicycle ride of 150 miles in two days to help raise
money for MS.  Now to make this on topic.....I couldn't have done this ride
without losing the weight.  Thanks to low carb and working out, I am thin
enough (even after last week), to go for such a ride.  The first day is over
80 miles and I live in Pennsylvania which isn't exactly flat.  The ride is
from Pittsburgh to Lake Erie in Ohio.  Below is a link to the information
and my site if anyone has interest.

Just wanted to share this with the group.

I'm doing the same ride in CT, although it's only 55 miles the first day
and 60 the next.  It's also not 'till September or so.  80 miles in
Pittsburgh!  Last year, I did multiple 60+ mile rides and had no
troubles.  I'd recommend getting close to the mileage.

Yeah, 80+ miles seems to be quite a bit and hilly as heck.  The second day
is 60+, but it gets flat at the end of the ride.  I rode 30 miles last
Monday and felt really good, but now the weather is a mess again.  I hope to
get a few 50's in when the weather breaks.  Thanks for the tips.
