I used fitday as best I could. Not sure how correct some of that stuff
was, and I had to guestimate on portion size for some things. Are the
results below pretty normal for a LCer?

source grams  cals %total
Total:   1990
Fat:      133  1200  62%
 Sat:     47   427  22%
 Poly:    21   186  10%
 Mono:    53   476  25%
Carbs:     19    57   3%
 Fiber:    4     0   0%
Protein:  171   682  35%
Alcohol:    0     0   0%

Looks familiar.  This is my average:  60% fat, 27% protein, 13% carbs.

I love fitday.

I've benefited tremendously from buying a digital scale and downloading the
program @ $24 (with cd rom).

Nothing has ever so clearly spelled out for me the consequences of the food
choices I make.   I'm also getting a daily reminder that I am not getting
nearly enough vitamin D, which reinforces the need for a daily supplement.

Or you could spend some time outside every day.

Never do anything that you wouldn't want to explain to the paramedics.

I think it was a reference to sunlight.

Not always possible for many people, especially in some climates and during
some times of the year.

UV radiation creates vit d in your body.  High lat/very cloudy places
like northern europe/north america  need supplements during the winter
because we don't get enough UV during that time, but if the sun is
out--- expose some skin and get yer vitamins.
