I noticed that Lexin mentioned in a post about "messing around on
LiveJournal" and I wondered how many of us here have weblogs?

If you don't want to share the URL, that's fine -- but I'm really
curious about how many folks just on this NG do online journalling.

I've just gotten started with it...it's kind of an interesting format.

(And, looking at your User Info, a *food_porn* community?!)

Heh. It's just a cooking/eating community. I eat low-carb, but I;m
still intensely fascinated with food. And a surprising amount of
people on the "food porn" and "cooking" groups contribute LC recipes.

As I mentioned above, it's just the name of a LJ community where
people talk about food.

Hi Dawn ... what is LJ? I haven't quite gotten the hang of all the
acronyms. At least the usage of acronyms here isn't as bad as the
military.

I have a journal, mostly to interact with the music community.  I just
started it, and it's helping me contact students in the same age-group
as my students, giving me lots of insight.  I keep a journal anyway, and
so this is serving as that for the time being.

I don't want to post it live, but it's at livejournal, and I'm not
hiding, per se.

Hey -- someone who may love Alan Rickman even more than I do! And
that's really saying something.

Oh, I am beyond sad in that direction. (Thinks of the signed photo she
purchased from Ebay.) Or even sadder.

Don't have one, don't want one, and have no urge to look at anyone elses.
Now if there were some budding Dave Barrys or Erma Bombecks in the
bunch, that I might look at.

There's a great writer on LiveJournal whose journal always makes me
smile - because his writing skills are so excellent.  He's a pro,
though, so I guess that explains it.  I don't want to post the url here,
but if you're interested, let me know. and I'll email it.
