It's true, according to my scales.  I think I have a bad case of
metabolic resistance and am desperate to drop that last 9 pounds.

3 days ago, I weighed 165.5.   Today, I weighed 160.5.

I'm still on it and will continue for few more days then  I'm back to
induction.    I still need to lose 4 more pounds, but hope for more.

It's no picnic - I'm hungry all the time.  Looking forware to phase
two when my meals increase from 200 calories to 300 calories.  But
dread going from 5 meals to 4 meals a day.

I need to buy some caviar to follow the rules.  Wonder which isle it
is on at Walmart?  Also pate', which I've also never tried.  And
macadamia nuts.

How do you feel besides the hunger? Even at induction-->OWL levels I still
get the occasional weird feeling like my heart skipped or something. I don't
think I have heart problems, but it certainly seems that if I immediately
eat some extra carbs I start feeling much better.

Same here.   I feel edgy and tense all the time, except for about 30
minutes after my 200 calorie extremely high fat 'meal'.
I find that I need to stay busy or exercise to get my mind off of
eating.   Drinking lots of water helps temporarily.    I don't feel
weak, YET.

Fortunately, knowing that I'm actually going to lose weight is going
to give me the courage to continue this for for 9 more days when I
return to normal induction.

I'd never heard of this.  Something to remember if I hit a plateau.  I'd be
interested to know what your final results are.

JD:

I did the all-meat, 6 day version of the fat-fast at the beginning of this
month. It was GREAT. For 3 days I ate meat only (no processed meats, and not
absurd amounts of meat - just enough to keep hunger at bay). On the 4th-6th
days I added 2 cups of green salad, 1 tbsp of mayo. I had no problems
sticking to it, lost 6 lbs in 6 days, and plan on doing it again in a month
or so. I had incredible energy during those 6 days!  At the end of the 6
days I was careful to add carbs back in slowly, and didn't re-gain any of
the 6 lbs. Worked for me!

That's not a fat fast, that's a meat fast.

Idiot.

I can't believe you are complaining about 4 pounds!  Good Gawd!  And you
lost 5 in the first 3 days, and your complaining because?

So eating less actually works?

Amazing.
